U.S. Congressman Patrick Murphy (L) and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter (R) join Sen. Larry Farnese at the Korean War Memorial in Society Hill, where an observance was held honoring the sacrifices of those who fought in the Korean War.

Sen. Farnese attends a Veteran's Day observance on the world's oldest floating steel warship, "Olympia," along with Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers, a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Sen. Farnese speaks to the crowd gathered at a Veteran's Day observance aboard the "Olympia." He expressed appreciation for all the sacrifices veterans have made protecting our country and remembered those soldiers who were killed in the Fort Hood shooting massacre of November 5, 2009.
