If you’re like me, especially during the holidays, you probably want to find a few ways to give back, unfortunately we’re all busy and it’s not always easy to figure out how. I encourage you to volunteer and support the programs that are important to you, but if you’re looking for something new take a look at Generocity.org. They’re a great resource that connects interested volunteers with organizations that need some help.
In today’s First District Connection I’d like to tell you about:
- Holiday Events in Philly;
- LIHEAP; and
- Health Care Open Enrollment.
This will be my last First District Connection for 2014, I’ll resume sending you updates on January 13, so once again thank you for your support and let me know if I can be of any assistance. As always, you can call my district office at 215-952-3121, e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit 1802 S. Broad St., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
