Some of us will be joining our families for Thanksgiving this week, some of us will be celebrating in town with friends and some of us will travel to be with our loved ones. So, wherever you end up celebrating, be safe and have a wonderful day.
According to the Coalition Against Hunger, nearly one in four people in Philadelphia are at risk for hunger, so I hope you can take a few minutes in the coming days to make a donation to a local food pantry, volunteer to serve meals at a nearby shelter or help someone you know that may be struggling to make ends meet.
As always, if you need anything from me, feel free to call my district office at 215-952-3121, e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit 1802 S. Broad St., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thank you for your continued support, my next First District Connection will be Dec. 16.
I wish you and yours the happiest of celebrations.
Sen. Larry Farnese
It was nice to once again visit with and help serve the residents of Jackson Place their pre-Thanksgiving turkey lunch. If you are interested in finding a place to volunteer, please don’t hesitate to call my office.
