Happy holidays,

It’s that time of year again when we’re often overwhelmed by our To Do List, but like I mentioned in my past First District Connection, please try to find some time to give back this month because there’s a real need out there for your time, your talents and your financial support of those who need it.

Just so you know, this will be my last First District Connection for 2013, but you can always find updates from me on Facebook and Twitter. I’ll resume sending a First District Connection on January 14. Today I’d like to tell you about:

  • Philadelphia’s new Tax LOOP program;
  • An upcoming job fair;
  • Enrolling in LIHEAP;
  • Weatherizing your home; and
  • Making your voice heard on the location of Philadelphia’s second casino.

I appreciate all the support you have shown me in 2013, so if there is ever anything I can do to repay your kindness, don’t hesitate to call my district office at 215-952-3121, e-mail me at farnese@pasenate.com or visit 1802 S. Broad St., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Until next year,
Sen. Larry Farnese
